Flash Memory Win98 A Book For Streaming Video Professionals Using A Flash Drive As Extra Memory. Is It The Same As Adding Actual Memory Sticks?

Using a flash drive as extra memory. Is it the same as adding actual memory sticks? - flash memory win98 a book for streaming video professionals

I saw a video of a simple way to add more storage space for your XP computer. Use a flashlight and use some or all of the flash memory. Is this the same as adding memory cards, or different? I have an 8GB flash drive. How much space that I use in my computer when I as extra storage? Would 8gb? Do not think my computer can handle more than 2 GB, when I added memory sticks.

Please clarify this point. Will adding memory, or simply virtual memory?
